China's National Bureau of Statistics: Added value of industrial enterprises above a certain size increased 5.1% - Chinese media

According to data recently released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China, in July the added value of industrial enterprises above a certain size (enterprises with annual main operating revenues of 20 million yen or more) increased by 1.2% compared to the previous year.
This was a 5.1% increase compared to the same month in the year. It was also 0.35% higher than in June. By sector, mining and manufacturing increased 4.6% year-on-year, manufacturing increased 5.3%, and production and supply of electricity, thermal energy, gas and water increased 5.2%.
In addition, 33 out of 41 industries maintained an upward trend. By product category, the production volume of 367 out of 619 industrial products increased from the same month last year.
The product sales rate was 97.2%, down 0.5 percentage points from the previous year. Exports were 1.2785 trillion former (approximately 26.6 trillion yen), up 6.4% from the previous year.
