”The worst thing I've ever eaten”... Internet users outraged by foreign YouTuber's video = South Korea
A foreign YouTuber traveling around Korea by bicycle became angry after he discovered that the bread he bought at a cafe in Ganghwa Island was three weeks past its expiration date.
Nick K, a YouTuber with 220,000 subscribers, released a video of his bicycle trip around Ganghwa-gun, Incheon on his YouTube channel on the 15th.
The YouTuber, who had been unable to eat anything all day, stopped by a cafe and bought a packaged loaf of bread, which he promptly opened and ate, but the condition of the bread changed afterwards.
As soon as he checked the bread, he couldn't believe his eyes. The bread was frozen and three weeks past its expiration date. The YouTuber sat at an outdoor table and took a bite of the bread he had bought, but the bread
The outside was hard, and the cream inside flowed like water. The YouTuber said, "I don't know what 'Mammoth Bun' is at the kiosk, but I thought I'd try it once (I ordered it)."
The bread was frozen. I saw them take the bread out of the refrigerator and put it in the microwave to warm it up. This is not a place that sells fresh bread, so it's a bit of a pain to eat it.
"I'm not sure what to do," he said. He then took a few bites of the bread and said with a wry smile, "There's ice in it. I'm not going to eat any more mammoth bread. It's a bit gross."
The scene was captioned with, "The worst thing I've ever eaten in Korea." The YouTuber, who ended up not being able to eat even half of the bread he bought, was shocked when he checked the bag.
The bag said, "Until 2024.07.15." The YouTuber filmed himself eating the bread on August 5, and the cafe was three weeks past the expiration date.
The YouTuber added, "(This store) was selling bread that had passed its expiration date. It's best not to use this store."
Internet users who saw the video commented, "If they sold bread that has passed its expiration date, they should report it. It's a disgrace to the country," and "The date has passed.
"If you throw it away, you have to throw it away unconditionally, but in the countryside, there are few people who use it, so it seems that they didn't check properly," "The Ganghwa County Office should crack down on this," "After one day
The store's social media account disappeared immediately, and it was no longer possible to search for it on portal sites."
