For two weeks, from noon on the 5th to noon on the 19th August, the second round of voting for the '2024 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS' 'TMA Popularity Award' as well as the 'FANN STAR Choice Award' in the group and solo categories was held. As a result, JO1 became the protagonist of the 'TMA Popularity Award', while 'PLAVE' and Lim Young-eun took first place in the group and solo categories of the 'FANN STAR Choice Award' respectively.
The 'TMA Popularity Award', which is given to artists participating in the '2024 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS', was won by Kim Jaejoong, 'ITZY', 'JO1', 'WOOAH', 'NewJeans', '&TEAM', 'xikers', 'KISS OF LIFE', 'n. Ssign', 'EVNNE' and 'NEXZ', 18 teams were nominated and voted for, with 'JO1' coming first and they will receive the 'TMA Popularity Award' at the awards ceremony to be held on the 7th and 8th September at Kyocera Dome, Osaka.
In the group category of the 'FANN STAR Choice Award' are 'Seventeen', 'Stray Kids', 'PLAVE', 'ZEROBASEONE', 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER', 'ATEEZ', 'WayV', 'RIIZE', '&TEAM', ' TEMPEST', 'THE NEW SIX', 'ENHYPEN', 'SUPER JUNIOR' and 'FANTASY BOYS' were among the 20 teams shortlisted for the second round of voting, with 'PLAVE' coming first.
Also Im Yeong-eun, V, J-HOPE, JUNG KOOK, JIMIN, RM, Hwang Chi-yeol, Lee Chang-won, Park Chang-gun, Yang Jun-il, KANGDANIEL, Ten (NCT), Jung Yu-jin, Hong Ji-yun, Baekho, Lee Sun-yoon and Kim Suchang, Song Tae-jin and Hongja, 20 solo artists fought a fierce battle in the second round of voting, and as a result, Im Young-eun appeared in first place in the solo category of the 'FANN STAR Choice Award'.
Thus, all voting for the 'FANN STAR Choice category', which falls under '2024 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS', has been completed, and the public voting will begin anew on the 20th.
The '2024 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS', organised by THE FACT and led by FANN STAR and FEELINGVIVE, will be held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka on the 7th and 8th September.
