The adverts for illegal gambling games, which are spliced together using DeepFei and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, are posted on online communities, YouTube, SNS, etc.
"DEX does not advertise illegal gambling game apps, and the advertisement in question is a fake video made based on a video in which DEX appears," it said.
He continued, "If you find such illegal advertising videos, please report them immediately. We will take special care to prevent harm from illegal advertising.
We ask that you please be cautious," and added, "Kick the Hurdle Studio will do its best to protect its artists and will continue to respond strongly through continuous monitoring."
DEX is a former member of the special forces UDT and has appeared as a talent on various variety shows such as "Fake Man 2," "Blood Game," and "Escape from the Island Season 2."
