Their home countries were liberated from Japan, but their medal records remained Japanese. In 1947, the two men teamed up to send talented young marathon runners to the historic Boston Marathon.
The director is Kang Je-gyu, who directed the hit films "Shiri" and "Brotherhood," which have created a frenzy around the world.
The master of human-interest TV series, Song Ki-jeong, a legendary gold medalist in South Korea, approaches the truth of the period between the liberation of the country and the Korean War, which has rarely been covered in the spotlight.
The role of the protagonist is played by Ha Jung Woo, a top Korean actor who has appeared in films such as "The Chaser" and "1987: When the Day Comes." The role of Seo Yun-bok, a young Boston runner, is played by the latest actor who is attracting attention.
Im Siwan, who was also confirmed to appear in "Squid Game 2", has undergone extensive training to reduce his body fat to 6% and build a realistic physique as a marathon runner.
Bae Seung-woo, known as the actor with a thousand faces, plays Nam Seung-ryong, who won the Dal, while Park Eun-bi (LADIES' CODE), who appeared in "Love Affair" and "Lawyer Woo is a Genius," plays Ok Rim, who has feelings for Seo Yun-bok.

"He is a living witness, a legend," he said of his impression of the character Song Ki-jeong.
