Eastar Jet to launch Incheon-Tokushima route this year (Korea)

South Korean low-cost carrier (LCC) Eastar Jet announced on the 27th that it will become the first Korean airline to begin flying to Tokushima within the year.
On the 8th of this month, Eastar Jet CEO Cho Jun-seok met with Tokushima Governor Masazumi Gotoda in Tokushima Prefecture and announced the establishment of an Incheon-Tokushima
The two sides signed an agreement to open a route between Incheon and Tokushima. The two sides agreed to jointly develop the Incheon-Tokushima route (scheduled to operate three regular flights per week), exchange information to promote the route, and promote public relations and marketing to attract tourists from both countries.
An Eastar Jet official said, "We will expand our travel options by discovering new small cities that are not well known (in Korea)."
"We also plan to actively attract inbound tourism to Korea by revitalizing private exchanges."
