The teaser poster and teaser version of the movie "Ordinary Family" have been released. "Ordinary Family" is about four people who live with their own beliefs, but their children's crime scenes are full of excitement.
The well-made suspense drama PENG SOO depicts a man who sees a CCTV that has been stolen from him and everything falls apart. The teaser poster released shows the official invitation to the 19th Film Festival, one of the most prestigious festivals in Korea and abroad, as well as the details of the awards it has received.
Jae Wan (played by Sol Kyung Gu), Jae Gyu (played by Jang Dong Gun), and Yeong Kyung are all standing with blank expressions on their faces, with the dining table in the middle.
The four characters, Kim Heui Ae, Jisoo (Soohyeon), and Kim Hee-soo, are given overwhelming weight, and the title "Ordinary Family" above them suggests what happened to this ordinary and perfect family.
The teaser version released at the same time is also attracting attention as it is filled with invitations to leading overseas film festivals and awards.
The next four characters appear, conveying the sudden change in the characters' emotions after learning about the children's crimes, enhancing the sense of immersion.
Jae Wan, a cold-hearted lawyer, represents reason; Jae Gyu, a kind and righteous pediatrician, represents conviction; Yeong Kyung, who puts her family first, strives to protect her family; and Jisoo, who is one step behind and tells the truth.
It will be interesting to see how the four characters, each expressing their own emotions of anger, doubt, sadness, and shock, will break down.
"Family" is scheduled to be released in Korean theaters in October.
