South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol has decided not to attend the opening ceremony of the 22nd National Assembly, scheduled for the 2nd. This is in response to the president's decision to withdraw from the National Assembly amid the unilateral push for legislation by the opposition party.
The decision was based on the judgement that it would be inappropriate for the president to attend and address the opening ceremony of the National Assembly.
