BTS' JUNG KOOK greets fans on his birthday... ”I will complete the rest of my military service”

Jung Kook (BTS) celebrated his birthday and expressed his gratitude to his fans.

On the 1st, Jung Kook wrote on global fan communication platform Weverse, ‘ARMY (fandom name), thank you for wishing me a happy birthday’ and added, "I'm doing well. I will complete my remaining military service well and ARMYs, please be good friends with me until then."

Jung Kook, who was born in 1997, celebrated his 27th birthday on the 1st JUNG KOOK entered the 5th Infantry Division Recruit Training Unit in Yeoncheon, Kyonggi-do (Gyeonggi-do) with member JIMIN last December and completed basic military training before continuing his active service in the army with the 5th Infantry Division. JUNG KOOK will be discharged on the 11th June 2025.

‘BTS’ is experiencing a gap period due to the members' military service. JIN, who enlisted first, will be discharged on the 12th June, followed by J-HOPE on the 17th October, RM and V on the 10th June 2025 and JUNG KOOK and JIMIN on the 11th June 2025. The call-up of SUGA, a social service member, will be lifted on the 21st June 2025.
