Travala, a travel site specializing in crypto assets (cryptocurrency), has announced an integration with Skyscanner, a global travel search engine.
Travala is the first crypto-based travel platform to integrate with Skyscanner, giving it access to Skyscanner's 110 million monthly users.
Sanja Vukic, head of hotels at Skyscanner, said:
"By integrating Skyscanner's market-leading search capabilities with Travala's cryptocurrency-based platform, we aim to reach more travelers who prefer alternative payment methods," said Vukik, CEO of Skyscanner.
"By using our platform, we can make travel planning more accessible and more flexible," said Juan Otero, CEO of Trabala.
Otero said, "The partnership between Travala and Skyscanner will demonstrate the utility of cryptocurrencies and bring them into the mainstream.
"This could provide a big boost to B3 adoption," he said. "Travel marketplaces like Skyscanner are the first point of departure for many travelers to look for travel information.
Introducing Rose to such a global travel marketplace will help existing Web2 users to become more interested in the Web3 world and naturally migrate to it.
"Yes," he explained.
