‘The KingDom’, ‘DRIPPIN’, ‘LIGHTSUM’, ‘LUCY’, ‘xikers’, ‘ASC2NT’, ‘8TURN’, ‘Xdinary Heroes’, ‘NCT WISH’, ‘n.SSign’, ‘ONEUS’, ‘YOUNITE’, ‘UNIS’, ‘ EVNNE', “EPEX”, “JD1”, Choi Yeena, “Kep1er”, “KISS OF LIFE”, “TEMPEST”, “TRENDZ”, “FIFTY FIFTY”, “H1-KEY” and many other artists will participate to make “Dream Concert” extra bright. The four groups selected in the ‘Dream Rookie’ poll, ‘XODIAC’, ‘ONE PACT’, ‘TIOT’ and ‘POW’, will also share the ‘Dream Concert’. The ‘Dream Rookie’ event is held to discover new K-pop artists at the ‘Dream Concert’ and serve as a springboard for their overseas expansion. Those who win the fierce voting competition on the official voting app ‘K-POP SEOUL’ will be supported with various privileges, including an appearance at the ‘Dream Concert’, the award of the President of the Korea Creative Content Agency, and marketing publicity in overseas markets such as Japan, China and Taiwan. This is expected to make the ‘Dream Concert’ a more meaningful occasion.
The main characters of the ‘Dream Concert Hall of Honour’ poll held to celebrate the 30th anniversary will also perform. Kang Sung-hoon, who won first place in the ‘30th Anniversary Hall of Fame’ poll, ‘Dreamcatcher’, who won first place in the ‘Dream Visual’ category, and ‘CIX’, who won first place in the ‘Dream Global’ category, will be performing together at the ‘Dream Concert’, having received enthusiastic support from fans.
Along with them, Ituk, the leader of the group ‘SUPER JUNIOR’, who has proven his ability to carry on a number of programmes, and Kwon Eun Bi, a solo singer who has attracted attention with his outstanding performance and witty speech, will act as MCs for the ‘Dream Concert’ and will carry on the event smoothly.
‘Dream Concert’ is Korea's longest-running K-pop concert, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and was officially certified as the longest-running and largest performance by the KRI Korea Record Institute, the record certification body, in 2019. Over the past 30 years, the concert has played a part in the history of K-Pop with 622 artists performing together, not to mention the approximately 1.98 million domestic and international audiences. This ‘Dream Concert’ is planned to be an even more meaningful and unique performance in honour of the 30th anniversary.
Meanwhile, the ‘Dream Concert’ will be jointly organised by the Korea Performing Arts Producers Association, the Korea Tourism Organisation and Koyang Special City. It is supported by the Korea Creative Content Agency and specially sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
