As a child, she dreamed of having a large family. When asked about planning a Japanese wedding, Ayane said, "Actually, we did it in Japan too. When the coronavirus pandemic ended. In Japan, wedding gifts are very expensive.
There is no culture of inviting a lot of guests like in Korea, so people only invite their really close friends.
"I invited exactly 30 people," he said, "I wanted to hold it outdoors in Korea, but I couldn't because of COVID-19.
"I didn't have a wedding reception in Hokkaido. My oppa (here Lee Ji Hoon) agreed to it (outdoors), so we held it in Hokkaido," he explained. He also said that in Japan, the wedding gift starts at 30,000 yen (about 300,000 won).
"The cost of a relative's wedding is over 100,000 yen. That's how expensive Japanese wedding venues are," she said. When asked how she would talk to her daughter, Ruhi, as they are a Korean-Japanese couple, Ayane said, "Actually, I'm an only Japanese.
In reality, (my husband) is trying to speak to me in Korean. Right now we mostly speak in Korean, but once the pattern is decided, I think we'll start speaking in Japanese," she revealed.
Ayane recovered quickly after giving birth. Lee Ji Hoon commented that there were no major changes during her pregnancy, saying, "I ate a lot.
I ate more than double the amount I normally eat, but (it's still the same)."
