”Tissues from Galbitang” customer doesn't pay... CCTV shows tissues used to wipe mouth falling = Korea

A customer who left without paying because he found a tissue in the kalbitang he was eating turned out to be a tissue that he had actually dropped himself, leading the restaurant owner to express his anger.
On the 16th, JTBC's "Incident Team Leader" reported on an incident experienced by a person named A, who runs a kalbitang specialty restaurant in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
According to A, three customers visited the restaurant around noon on the 12th of this month. However, the three customers complained that tissues had come out of their kalbitang.
A apologized immediately. However, when A tried to pay the bill excluding the kalbi tang that he had been served, the two who came with him also refused to pay for the food and drink. In the end, all three of them paid the bill.
He left the restaurant without paying. Afterwards, Mr. A wondered why tissues had been placed with the food, so he checked the CCTV (security camera). There, he saw a shocking scene.
The video showed a customer messing with the tissue he had used to wipe his hands and mouth, causing bits of the tissue to fall into the kalbitang. However, it was not clear that this was an intentional act.
It is unclear whether this was the case. In the end, Mr. A reported the three customers for fraud. Mr. A said, "We won't know until we investigate, but it's possible that this was not negligence but deliberate.
"I don't understand why they didn't pay for the rest of the kalbitang when only one serving was served," said lawyer Park Ji Hoon, who said, "If it was done intentionally, it would be considered fraud or blackmail."
"I will leave it to my conscience," he said.
