Daegu Mayor: ”I hope former President Moon goes to jail”... ”A proper investigation should be carried out” = South Korea

On the 19th, Hong Jun-pyo, mayor of Daegu, South Korea, said about the prosecution's investigation into former President Moon Jae-in, "If they are going to investigate the former president's corruption,

"It is not in line with social justice for a former president (the president) to be able to live out his old age in peace," he said. "If there is an investigation into the wrongdoing of a former president, then it should be an investigation that is proportionate to that."
There are many acts of treason that border on state crimes, such as whether there were any state secrets in the USB handed over to North Korean leader Kim Jong Eun at Panmunjom.
"Turning a blind eye to the fact that she was involved and investigating her support for her daughter's family would not be in line with the principle of proportionality in investigations."
