Kang Seung-sik of the group VICTON has revealed his thoughts on discharging his military service. Management Office IST Entertainment announced on the 19th, "VICTON's Kang Seung-sik has completed his military service.
Kang Seung-sik completed his active military service today (19th) and was discharged." Kang Seung-sik entered the army training center in March 2023 and was assigned to the military band for about a year and six months.
During his service, Kang Seung-sik attended various military events and memorial ceremonies, demonstrating his dedication to fulfilling his national defense duties.
Kang Seung-sik said through his management office, "First of all, I would like to thank ALICE (Fujoshi) for always waiting for me with love and support.
"I'm so grateful to my long-awaited fans (fan name). I'm so grateful that I was able to fulfill my duty as a fine man of the Republic of Korea," he said, expressing his gratitude to his fans who had been waiting for him for so long.
He continued, "Just as the word 'discharge' means, I want to return to my original role and deliver healing and messages to many people with my new appearance and music.
We ask for your continued support and anticipation," he said, teasing the group's lively communication and raising expectations for their future endeavors.
Kang Seung-sik is a former member of the group "VICTON" and will be appearing in the "Time Trilogy" before enlisting.
The group has been successful, breaking career highs with their album series. They also starred as the lead singer in the popular romance reality variety show TVing "Love Change Season 2".
She was loved for singing the theme song for the film, "WHAT IF." She has also performed in musicals such as "EQUAL" and "I Loved You," and has been active in many fields.
