He shared his thoughts on being the MC at the production presentation of Mnet's "Stage Fighter" held at the Elena Hotel in Nam-gu.
"Fighter" is a new next-former dance survival show in which male dancers from Korean dance, modern dance, and ballet genres who express messages through their bodies fight each other regardless of class.
Following "STREET WOMAN FAIGHTER" and "STREET MAN FAIGHTER", KANGDANIEL will be releasing "Stage
He was the MC for all of Mnet's dance shows until "Fighter".
Regarding the difference between "STREET FAIGHTER" and "STREET FAIGHTER", he said, "When I did the "STREET FAIGHTER" series, I tried to be more like a battle MC.
"It seems like he was putting in an effort," he said, "This time, we were on stage, and there were dancers there, so I thought it was important to start with concise breathing and keep the tone in line."
He continued, "In 'Stage Fighter,' there was no live competition format like a battle. The tone of my voice and breathing when I was proceeding were like speaking in a theater or hall.
"In Stage Fighter, the more acrobatic technique movements are really appealing," KANGDANIEL said.
It had that kind of atmosphere, and watching it made me feel reverent," he added.
Producer Choi Jeong selected KANGDANIEL as the MC.
The reason for this was, "Kang Daniel has a strong interest in dance, but he started dancing based on the genre of modern dance, so we believe he has a high level of understanding of dance overall.
" He said, "We decided that he would be able to continue his role as the owner of Mnet's dance series."
In "Fighter," 64 active male dancers perform in three genres: Korean dance, modern dance, and ballet, and engage in a class war.
The dancers who survive the class war will be given the opportunity to join the Global LUDAnce company and perform on a world tour. The Master & Coach corps includes legendary ballerina Kim Joo-hwan.
The group includes Won, Jeong Bo-kyung & Kim Jae-seung (Korean dance coaches), Song Chang-yeon & Choi Suzy-in (modern dance coaches), Han Seong-woo & Yoo Geun-eun (ballet coaches),
Dance experts, including rehearsal director Matthew Rich, will be involved. Meanwhile, "Stage Fighter" will premiere on the 24th at 10 p.m. in Korea.
