The film was shot on location in both Korea and Japan. The film depicts the happy couple spending time together in Japan during the warm spring, including Inokashira Park, a place that holds special memories for Hong and Jungo, and the town of Kichijoji, where the two went on many dates.
Regarding filming in Japan, Lee Se Yeong said, "The most memorable place for me was Inokashira Park. I went to Inokashira Park for the first time with Director Moon last winter.
It was beautiful, spacious, and natural. It was modest yet gorgeous, and seeing that scenery made me realize how beautiful a park can be. I'd like to come to this park again.
I had hoped that we could shoot here, and when I actually went there as the shooting location, it was as beautiful as I expected, so it's the place I remember the most," he said, recalling his memories of filming.
When Lee Se Yeong revealed the location of the film in Japan, Sakaguchi replied, "We started filming at Yeoltong Park in Korea. In this film, five years have passed between the two characters.
Because of the gap between them, when they meet again, their relationship inevitably starts at a place where it has cooled down. Five years later, the scene is set in a cold winter at York Park, when their relationship has cooled a little.
So it was a perfect fit for the relationship between the two of them. The air was very clear, but the trees were withered and it gave off a somewhat sad impression, so it made a lasting impression on me," he said of his character.
