Jang Keun Suk said, "It may seem strange to keep talking about my illness here and there, but I have been ill for a long time.
"My outlook on life has changed positively since I was diagnosed with this disease, and I want to send a message to people who are suffering from the same disease as me. I also wanted to share information about this disease and have a dialogue with many people," she said.
Jang Keun Suk, who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer during a health check in October last year, said, "When I heard, 'You have cancer cells,' my first reaction was, 'What? Am I going to die?'
I don't know how to explain how I felt, but I think a lot of people do. Me? Me? And I had no family history. There was nothing that could have caused it.
"My thyroid is what regulates my hormones, and it took me a long time to accept why this happened to me," she said.

I made an appointment in advance and waited until the end of May, and when I heard that I could have the surgery a month before, I canceled all my plans from the end of April to the end of the year and decided to postpone my surgery.
