「SEVENTEEN」のジョンハン、26日代替服務開始…グループは軍白期に
SEVENTEEN's Jeonghan to begin alternative military service on the 26th... The group is in the military white period
Jeonghan of the group SEVENTEEN is the first member of the group to begin his military service obligations. With the sequential enlistment of the members, their activities as a complete unit will be suspended for a while and they are expected to enter a full-fledged ‘military white period’ (a period of inactivity due to military service).

According to his agency PLEDIS Entertainment, Jong Han will fulfil his military service obligation from 26th.

PLEDIS revealed their plans for Jeonghan, saying, "As previously announced, he will not be able to participate in the activities of his 12th mini-album and world tour, but he will be sharing various contents that he has prepared in advance."

They also said, "There will be no separate official events on the day of the start of his service and the day he enters the training centre. Please refrain from visiting the place of alternative service. Please convey your feelings for Jeonghan through Weverse."

Jeonghan, who was born in 1995 and is the oldest member of SEVENTEEN, will thus become the first enlisted member of SEVENTEEN. Member S. COUPS, who is the same age as Jeonghan, underwent reconstructive surgery last year due to a torn cruciate ligament in his knee and received a Grade 5 wartime service decision as a result of his military service evaluation test. Joshua is Korean-American. He is expected to be followed by Hoshi, Wonwoo and Wooji, who were born in 1996, and Mingyu, who was born in 1997, who will follow Jeonghan.

SEVENTEEN‘ released their 12th mini-album “SPILL THE FEELS” on the 14th October and are preparing for their world tour “SEVENTEEN ”RIGHT HERE’ WORLD TOUR' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium from 12-13 October. However, Jeonghan will not be able to participate in these schedules due to his military enlistment.

Like Jeonghan, Jun will not be participating in this promotional activity and will be working as an actor in China in parallel. His agency stated that the decision was made out of necessity due to a conflict with the local filming schedule, and that "Jun's strong desire to participate in group activities together is strong, so he will do his best to participate in the dates when he can meet everyone in CARAT."

SEVENTEEN' is entering a period of full-fledged inactivity and Jeonghan, who is about to enlist in the army, continues to receive support and encouragement from fans.
