「103棟の皆さま」…アパートに住んでいた障害者が残した手紙=韓国
”To everyone in Building 103”... A letter left by a disabled person who lived in an apartment building in South Korea
In South Korea, a letter left by a disabled resident of an apartment building for his neighbors when he moved out has become a hot topic after it was made public.
On the 24th of this month, X (formerly Twitter) posted a message titled "A letter left by a disabled person who has lived in a house for four years and is moving out."
Along with the contents of the letter, a photo of the letter posted on a bulletin board on the apartment premises was also made public. The resident who wrote the letter wrote, "We are residents of room 208. We will soon be moving out of this apartment where we have lived for four years.
I am moving to a new apartment. I have always lived with gratitude, but as I move I have decided to say goodbye like this."
He continued, "Parking spaces reserved for disabled people are for disabled drivers, but unfortunately, that is not the case.
"Many of the parking spaces are unused," he said. "Despite the serious parking problem, the residents of our building kept their disabled parking spaces open until late at night, so we have been able to live here without any inconvenience for the past four years."
He added, "I'm truly grateful for your kind consideration," and "I pray that you will always be healthy and happy."
In Korea, people park in parking spaces reserved for the disabled without a parking permit attached.
If you park in a parking lot or block a space, you will be fined 100,000 won (about 10,820 yen).
