Contemporary Children's Book Museum holds exhibition ”Nothing Museum”, original picture book by American artist (Korea)
The Hyundai Children's Book Museum will be exhibiting at the Hyundai Prime Outlet Space, an outlet mall in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, until February 24, 2025.
The exhibition "The Museum of Nothing" is being held at the Art Lab in the Mocha Garden on the third floor of One.
The exhibition is based on the picture book "The Empty Museum" by American illustrator Stephen Guarnacia.
The exhibition space will be divided into seven themes, including "Empty Bookshelf," "Gaping Hole," and "Empty Room," and will feature artworks with the theme of "emptiness."
The exhibition consists of sculptures and dialogues, such as invisible spaces, bottles filled with fragrance, books filled with blank pages, and gaping holes. Admission is free.
From October 25th to 31st, the mall will hold the 2024 Space One Design Festival to celebrate its fourth anniversary.
A costume event featuring the characters from "Disney" is planned. A representative from the Museum of Contemporary Children's Books said, "We hope that the children who visit this exhibition will be able to enter a world of infinite imagination that begins with nothing.
I'd like you to try touching it."
