Both Park Seo Jun and Sung Si Kyung were victims of bullying... ”I'm glad I wasn't the perpetrator”

Actor Park Seo Jun spoke about his childhood bullying experience.

On the 7th, singer Song Si Kyung posted a video of ‘Mannaltende’ on her YouTube channel under the title ‘I became a captive of Seo Jun when I first met him’.

Song Si Kyung repeated the points and praises she felt after watching ‘Gyeongseong Creature’. Song Si Kyung said, "Han So Hee's acting is amazing. They were both very good" and Park So-joon said, “If you look at So-hee, you will say she is MZ (Millennial and Generation Z, born in the 1980s and 2000s), MZ, but it is fresh in a good way” and revealed, “It has a rough and unorganised feel, but that is very good”.

He continued "When I memorise a scenario, I don't memorise the other actor's lines, nor do I look at them. I only memorise my part. I hear them for the first time when we rehearse", and added, "Of course, sometimes I go in deciding that I have to give a reaction, but usually a lot of good stuff comes in when we rehearse. That way, I could feel Seohi's freshness even more. I can really look forward to the future and I'm now rooting for her", he praised.

How did ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ fare overseas? Park Seo Jun said "It did well overseas. According to what I heard, in Japan, Netflix Japan did not take it. However, when I asked them later, they said they had no choice but to take it for the actors. Because the actors are popular in Japan. That's why the young Japanese were surprised. They don't know that ‘our country did this?’ They don't know. That's why there was a lot of searching for history among the younger generation in Japan," he said, sharing his behind-the-scenes story.

Park Seo Jun said, "Actually, to what extent I thought about it before I started, I said, 'Let's assume I can't go to Japan anymore'. I was too worried, but it seemed like a real few. Park Seo Jun, who said that his parents were very opposed to his acting before he started acting, said "I started to talk to them when I started to try out social life. When I was a child, I was really petty and very shy. I was almost a triple ‘I’ as a child. I couldn't even order in restaurants. I was too embarrassed," he confided.

Park Seo Jun said that he felt liberated when he accidentally came into contact with acting "It was in the third year of junior high school that I hated my personality so much. I couldn't say anything anywhere I went, so I was too much like XX myself, even though it wouldn't be good on air", and added, "When I was young, I was bullied a bit in primary school. Even in middle school, I was naturally one of the very quiet ones."

Song Si Kyung then said "There are so many bullying problems these days. I think this is the first time I'm going to talk about it, but I was in hell from the first grade to the fourth grade. I was told, ‘Stay behind when you're done’. I wasn't the type to hit anyone and I didn't like fights. I was more than willing to hit anyone", and Park So-jung sympathised with him, saying, "Of course."

Park So-jung said, "I think it's a matter of self-esteem and confidence. At that time, of course I was the one who had lost my self-esteem, saying ‘I'm nothing’, but when I started acting, I gained confidence and became able to talk. I knew what I wanted to do for the first time in my life, so I really worked hard."
