”NCT WISH” long-awaited 1st Japan album ”WISHFUL” will be released on Christmas! Original Japanese content will also be recorded!

Born from SM ENTERTAINMENT's first pre-debut reality show ‘NCT Universe : LASTART’, they made their pre-debut as ‘NCT NEW TEAM (provisional)’ on 8 October 2023, a year before their debut.

After the pre-debut period, they became the first SM artists in history to simultaneously debut in Japan and South Korea on the 21st February 2024, and their two consecutive albums since their debut in Japan were certified as Gold Discs by the Japan Record Association.

Furthermore, in South Korea, NCT WISH recorded the highest initial sales of 790,000 among K-pop artists who debuted in 2024, and is currently the talk of the town as the ‘best newcomer of 2024’. WISHFUL’ will be released on the 25th December (Wed), Christmas Day!

This album includes their pre-debut songs ‘Hands Up’ and ‘We Go!’ as ‘NCT NEW TEAM (temporary)’, ‘NCT WISH’ debut single ‘WISH (Japanese Ver.)’, ‘Sail Away (Japanese Ver.)’ and their latest single ‘Songbird (Japanese Ver.)’. Songbird (Japanese Ver.)' and “Tears Are Falling (Japanese Ver.)”, as well as seven other new songs produced for the album.

A limited first edition ‘Christmas Present Box Ver.’ with Blu-ray will also be released.

The Blu-ray includes ‘WISHCATION #1’, a VACATION content that fulfils the ‘WISH’ of the six members of ‘NCT WISH’, who have been going through a dizzying year since their debut, as well as a video of their one-year journey since their debut as ‘NCT WISH’. The album will also include two Japan original contents, ‘Making of WISH #1’, which follows their one-year journey since their debut as ‘NCT WISH’.

In addition, a pre-order release event will be held exclusively at mu-mo SHOP to celebrate the release of Japan 1st Album ‘WISHFUL’!

The event will be held at four venues in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi and Fukuoka.

At this release event, ‘NCT WISH’ Japan's first ‘photo-op’ autograph session ‘autograph session with all members’ will be held.

Only while waiting for the ‘autograph session with all members’, you will be able to take videos and photos with your smartphone from your seat. Other events include ‘Autograph Session (by member)’ where you can get autographs from your favourite members, ‘Christmas Card Handing Session (by unit)’ as the release date is Christmas, and ‘Hands Up Session (by member)’, which is named after ‘Hands Up’ (the pre-debut song as NCT NEW TEAM (temporary)), their starting point. Hands Up Party (by member)’ and many other release events will be held to celebrate their first album in Japan with “NCT WISH”.
