[Official] ”BTS” V's ”Layover” certified as Gold Disc ”Platinum” by the Recording Industry Association of Japan

BTS's V has added another significant record to his solo album "Layover" with the Recording Industry Association of Japan's Gold Disc "Platinum" certification.
According to an announcement by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 10th, the cumulative shipments of BTS member V's first solo album "Layover," released in September last year, were as of September.
It sold over 250,000 copies and was certified as a gold disc or platinum album. "Layover" is now V's first album to be certified as a gold disc or platinum album.
Even though it has been over a year since its release, the album has been selling steadily and has set a new record, making it particularly significant.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan awards Gold (over 100,000 copies) and Premium (over 100,000 copies) titles each month based on the cumulative shipments of singles and albums.
Gold disc certifications are awarded, such as Latina (over 250,000 copies), double platinum (over 500,000 copies), triple platinum (over 750,000 copies), and million (over 1 million copies).
Meanwhile, "Layover" was a big hit when it was released, going straight to the top of the "Daily Album Charts".
"Dancing" also rose to the top of the "Daily Digital Single Rankings," making V the successful candidate to dominate both the album and music charts at the same time.
