North Korea's General Staff orders eight brigades near the border to be on ”ready-fire alert” status
The North Korean People's Army General Staff issued a preliminary operational order to prepare artillery units close to the border and units tasked with important fire missions for rapid-fire readiness.
According to the Korean Central News Agency, a spokesman for the North Korean Ministry of National Defense said on the 13th that the General Staff Headquarters will send eight fully armed artillery brigades to the Korean peninsula on the 20th of the 13th, in accordance with the wartime standard.
The General Staff of the Korean People's Army said it had ordered the U.S. military to switch to a firing standby status by 1 p.m. and complete various operational preparations. If a South Korean drone crosses the border again, it will attack targets.
The North Korean government has ordered all military units to make thorough preparations to deal with the situation, even assuming that armed conflict could escalate as a result. The agency said that drone surveillance posts have been strengthened in the capital, Pyongyang.
"The Republic of Korea's provocative act of serious violation of sovereignty against the Republic of Korea's capital, Pyongyang, has created a state of severe military tension that could escalate at any moment," the agency reported.
"We predict that there is a high possibility of additional provocations, such as drones originating from South Korea invading our borders and the airspace over the capital, and if there is another provocation, we must immediately attack specific enemy targets," he said.
"Our forces are preparing for a situation in which we must respond with force, and in which the possibility of an escalation of armed conflict cannot be ruled out," he said.
On the 11th, North Korea announced in a "serious statement" issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs that "the Republic of Korea has decided to withdraw its forces from the Republic of Korea's capital, Pyongyang"

On the 12th, Kim Yo-jong, a vice director of the Workers' Party of North Korea, said in a statement, "We are conducting a major cross-border operation.
"If a drone loaded with anti-Republican political incitement garbage originating from the Republic of Korea again invades the Republic's airspace, we will respond strongly and take retaliatory action, regardless of its content," it warned.
South Korea's National Security Advisor Shin Won-sik responded to such North Korean threats by saying, "There is no nominal reason for provocation.
"More importantly, North Korea's internal control is faltering, and tensions are rising in response," he said, adding, "North Korea will only be able to maintain its regime if its people recognize the threat that the regime poses."
