[Official] Comedian Lee JINHO leaves ”Knowing Bros” for ”illegal gambling”

Comedian Lee Jinho has been caught up in a controversy over illegal gambling, and the show he is appearing in is also in trouble. Netflix said on the 14th, "We received the news just before the show was released and are very disappointed.

"There are creative restrictions. We appreciate your understanding," he said. Meanwhile, he will be stepping down from "Knowing Bros." "Knowing Bros" said, "I will be stepping down from the record this week.
"We plan to edit as much of the footage that Lee Jinho participated in as possible." Earlier on the same day, Lee Jinho confessed on his SNS that he had engaged in illegal gambling in the past, saying, "It was a coincidence.
I started playing games on illegal internet gambling sites and ended up with unmanageable debts. I received harsh warnings from friends and family, and I was worried I might never be able to do the job I love again.
I was so scared that something might happen to me that I only came to my senses late and was able to quit gambling, but I had already received financial support from many people."
He added, "I've been steadily paying back the money every month, and I intend to pay off this debt with all my own efforts until I die."
"I sincerely regret the days gone by when I forgot my duties as a celebrity in the group and ruined things with a momentary wrong decision," he said in a remark.
He also said, "I promise to repay the remaining debt no matter what."
