September CPI figures for 31 Chinese provinces released: 26 provinces up, 4 provinces down compared to last year - China Report

The National Bureau of Statistics of China recently released the September Consumer Price Index (CPI) for 31 provinces. The CPI for 26 of these provinces increased from the same month last year, according to a report from the Chinese media outlet "China News Agency."
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the national CPI in September was flat compared to the previous month and up 0.4% compared to the same month last year.
He pointed out that the number of provinces that saw their CPI rise in September was down from August. Looking at the September CPI for the 31 provinces compared to the same month last year, 26 provinces saw an increase, one province saw no change, and four provinces saw a decrease. In August, 29 provinces saw their CPI fall compared to the same month last year.
