Hello. This is ONE HUNDRED. BIG PLANET MADE is one of the labels of ONE HUNDRED.
Ent.'s manager A has taken out small loans from 40 illegal lenders using the contact details in his cell phone as collateral, and is unable to repay them.
The illegal lenders contacted the phone number that was provided as collateral and threatened the company. We were first contacted by the private lenders on September 30th and immediately processed Mr. A's resignation.
We had hoped that the incident would come to an end due to Mr. A's personal financial problems, but today (16th), the illegal loan company called our company again, and started to make nasty remarks and take money on behalf of Mr. A.
In response, our company understands that this is not a matter that can be simply resolved as an internal company issue, and we hope that no innocent victims will be created.
First of all, Mr. A gave the loan company about 1,200 phone numbers, including BIG PLANET MADE.
Ent. staff, entertainers affiliated with our company, people from the agency A was previously employed at, people in the entertainment industry including the broadcasting industry that A had known up until now, entertainers from other agencies, and managers.
The illegal lenders are still making threatening phone calls and sending threatening emails to employees of BIG PLANET MADE Ent., where he used to work.
As time goes on, there is a high possibility that they will contact other numbers on Mr. A's mobile phone. Our company takes the seriousness of the situation very seriously and will continue to take action against the illegal loan companies that have been sending threatening calls to this day.
We have filed a police report and are preparing legal action. We bow our heads in apology for the innocent victim that was caused by the mistake of one of our employees.
Our employees are currently suffering from the fear of indiscriminate threatening phone calls from illegal lenders to the point that they are unable to carry out their duties normally.
In the future, there is a possibility that victims like us may occur due to the phone number provided by Mr. A as collateral.
If you receive threatening phone calls or emails from the company, please report it to the police immediately. Once again, we would like to offer our deepest apologies to those whose personal information was leaked by our former employees.
We will do our best to resolve this situation.
