Prime Minister Ishiba makes offering to Yasukuni Shrine - South Korean media

Kyodo News reported that on the 17th, Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba made an offering to Yasukuni Shrine, where Class A war criminals from the Pacific War are enshrined.
Prime Minister Ishiba, who took office on the 1st of this month, will be holding a special event to mark the start of the autumn festival.
An offering of a sacred sakaki tree was made under the name of "Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru." It was reported on the 11th that "Prime Minister Ishiba has decided to postpone visiting Yasukuni Shrine during the annual festival."
As a result, Prime Minister Ishiba is expected to take the same approach as former Prime Minister Fumio Kishida regarding Yasukuni Shrine. Yasukuni Shrine is a shrine dedicated to the 24 dead who died in Japan's civil wars and numerous wars since the Meiji Restoration.
It commemorates the souls of over 66,000 war dead. Of these, about 2,133,000, or nearly 90%, were related to the Pacific War. In addition,
