If Vice President Kamala Ha Ri Su wins the upcoming November US presidential election, it is unlikely that Solana (SOL) and Ripple (XRP) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will be approved.
On the 21st (local time), CoinDesk issued this forecast, citing industry expert Nate Geraci.
"Looking at the current Biden administration's stance, if the Ha Ri Su administration is inaugurated, the immediate aftermath of the election will be a major turning point for the Biden administration," said ETF Store CEO Geraci.
"It is highly unlikely that additional cryptocurrency-related spot ETFs will be approved later," he said. "Recently, candidate Ha Ri Su has announced that she will create a regulatory framework for digital assets.
"But it's aimed at black male voters who are more likely to own cryptocurrency, and it lacks a detailed plan for how to support it."
