A consultation body between the ruling and opposition parties, the medical community, and the government (ruling and opposition medical administration), proposed by People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon, is expected to be launched next week.
The Korean Association of Medical Directors (KAMC) has decided to participate in the ruling party medical affairs council. Han emphasized, "We will focus solely on the people, follow the will of the people, and solve problems without evading them."

No answer was given. Some in political circles have suggested that this was a de facto rejection. When asked, "What do you think about President Yoon's response?" Han replied, "I will replace it with what I said earlier."
Regarding the fact that some medical organizations have expressed their intention to join the ruling party medical affairs council, Han said, "It's getting cold. We can't delay any more. We must only focus on the health of the people.
"That alone is enough to set up a consultation body and resolve the issue," he said. Han Ji-ah, the government's chief spokesperson, also told reporters at the National Assembly, "There are no issues to be addressed (in the ruling-government medical affairs council)."
