Gary Gensler: ”No changes planned for crypto-asset-centered regulatory approach”

Gary Gensler, chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), who has been regulating the cryptocurrency industry under the Biden administration, has said he will continue to adhere to his regulatory approach to the cryptocurrency industry.
SEC Chairman Gary Gensler said in an interview with Bloomberg on the same day that he has no plans to change his regulatory approach to cryptocurrency enforcement.
"For the past 90 years, we have enjoyed the benefits of strong Congressional legislation and institutional rules to protect investors, create capital and revitalize our markets," he continued.
That will probably happen too," he added.
