Seo In Guk's Japanese fan club supports disadvantaged Korean children
The Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, a Korean child welfare organization, announced on the 23rd that it had received donations from Seo In Guk's Japanese fan club for financially disadvantaged children in the Ulsan area.
The fan club, Guk's Lovely Ants JP, donated 3.6 million won (approximately 390,000 yen) to celebrate singer and actor Seo In Guk's birthday on October 23rd.
The fan club has been supporting economically disadvantaged children in the Ulsan area. A fan club official said, "We started the fan club so that the children in Ulsan, Seo In Gook's hometown, can grow up happy and healthy.
It is meaningful to be able to participate in sharing with the members," he said, adding, "I hope that this warmth will be conveyed and that children will grow up with hope."
A Green Umbrella representative said, "We are deeply grateful for the continued interest and support from the fan club. The valuable donations provided by the fan club will help our children.
We will ensure that this message is properly conveyed to the children so that they can grow up healthy."
