Suspect in teenage girl murder case was looking for more victims... ”To release frustration” = Korea

It has been revealed that Park Dae-seong (30), the suspect who murdered a teenage female student in South Korea whom he did not know, committed the crime in order to release the frustration he had been feeling due to his pessimism about his life.
On the 23rd, the Gwangju District Prosecutor's Office, Suncheon Branch, Criminal Division 2 arrested and indicted Park on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. Park is accused of murdering a woman in Jeollanam-do (South Jeolla Province) at around 0:44 on the 26th of last month.
He is suspected of using a deadly weapon to murder a man named A (18) who was walking down the street in the downtown area of Choreo-dong, Suncheon City.
The prosecution said Park remained in the izakaya for about an hour after the crime while still in possession of the murder weapon.
The prosecution also found that Park had been wandering around bars and karaoke bars looking for someone to kill, and was also charged with attempted murder.
The court concluded that Park killed the victim, whom he did not know, in order to relieve his stress. Considering the amount of alcohol Park consumed, his walking style, and the testimony of numerous witnesses at the time of the crime, it was determined that he was not in a mentally or physically impaired state.
The prosecution also requested an order to attach an electronic location tracking device to Park, judging that he is at high risk of reoffending.
Through a review of his cell phone usage history, the prosecution also confirmed Park's violent tendencies. The prosecution is working to ensure that a dedicated investigation team for Park is in charge until the trial and that he receives a heavy sentence commensurate with his crime.
On the day of the incident, Park, who operated a delivery restaurant, was drinking alone at the restaurant and then went outside with the weapon, chasing Mr. A for about 800 meters and stabbing him in the back.
After the crime, Park fled the scene, kicking a parked car and getting into a fight with the car's owner. He was arrested by police about an hour and a half after the incident.
During police investigation, Park stated that he did not remember the details of the crime.
