RM, a member of the group BTS who is currently serving in the military, donated 100 million won (about 11 million yen) to the Veterans Fund on his birthday in September, and the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs expressed his gratitude.

Prior to this, on September 12, RM announced his intention to participate in the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs' "Uniformed Service Appreciation Campaign,"

The funds will be used for welfare support. RM has been donating to various organizations and doing good deeds in the past. RM will donate a total of 200 million won to preserve and restore cultural assets located overseas in 2021 and 2022.
Last year, he also donated 100 million won to the Korean Society of Legal Medicine to promote the development of forensic medicine in Korea and to train legal experts.
