The survey was conducted by the Korean polling organization "Gallup Korea" on the 22nd to 24th of this month among 1,001 men and women aged 18 and over.
President Yoon's approval rating for the fourth week of October was calculated to be 20%, down 2% from the previous survey and the same lowest as his approval rating in the second week of September.
The number of people who disapproved rose 1 percentage point from the previous survey to 70%. In particular, the current survey focused on the issue of First Lady Kim Gun-Hee.
(15%) was the most common reason given for disapproval. In the previous survey, "economy, public welfare, and prices" was the number one reason for disapproval (15%), but this time it came in second (14%).
The most common reason for support was "diplomacy" (27%), followed by "national defense and security" (9%) and "decisiveness, drive, and tenacity" (5%).
Meanwhile, the approval rating for political parties was calculated as 30% for the ruling People Power Party and the Democratic Party of Korea, 6% for the Fatherland Reform Party, and 27% for independents.
The ruling party's approval rating increased by 2% from the previous survey, while the Democratic Party of Japan was at the same rate.
