”Onion Man” former South Korean justice minister: ”We will firmly protect Liancourt Rocks”

Cho Kuk, aka "Onion Man," former South Korean Minister of Justice and leader of the Fatherland Reform Party, emphasized on the 25th, Dokdo (Long Islands, Japanese name: Takeshima) Day, that "we will firmly protect Dokdo."
On the same day, Cho announced on the social media of the Fatherland Reform Party that "Today is Dokdo Day," and added, "On October 25, 1900, according to Imperial Decree No. 41 of the Korean Empire, Dokdo was designated as Ulleungdo.
"This is the day to commemorate the fact that Liancourt Rocks was designated as an attached island of the Republic of Korea from a historical and geographical perspective," Cho wrote.
"However, this strong gate is now in danger of being reopened by Japan," he said, adding, "A Japanese destroyer with a war criminal flag was fired near Liancourt Rocks.
"If the Yun Seok-yeol administration is not the Yongsan Government-General, it needs to clearly show its intention to protect Liancourt Rocks," Cho said.
Cho said, "The Fatherland Reform Party inherits the will of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Republic of Korea. We must make Dokdo, the pride of our nation, not a lonely island."
