[Event Report] Yuta (NCT) erupts with rock spirit at ”YUTA Solo Debut Showcase Tour ~ HOPE ~” and fans go wild!

YUTA, who is active in "NCT" and "NCT 127", held the Tokyo performance of "YUTA Solo Debut Showcase Tour ~ HOPE ~" at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on October 17th and 18th. This is his first solo showcase to commemorate his solo debut with his first mini album "Depth" on November 13th, and the tour will have nine performances, starting in Fukuoka on October 5th, and going to Hyogo, Aichi, Tokyo, and Osaka. As the fans eagerly waited for the show to start, the lights went out and a floating ambient sound started to play, and images began to play on the gauze curtain covering the stage. As YUTA's masked figure was projected one after another, the stable sound gradually became disrupted and the sound gradually grew louder. Then, suddenly, the venue went silent and YUTA's mask was removed, and a huge cheer erupted.

The venue was engulfed in red light, and the sound of the heavy drums and guitars reverberated, instantly drawing the audience into a rock worldview. As the fierce sounds reverberated, the stage went dark and bright repeatedly, and the audience noticed a king chair placed on the upper level in the center of the stage. Then, the moment the stage went dark and the stage lit up again, YUTA appeared on the king chair with his hood pulled down deep, and the audience was surprised and cheered loudly. As the sound of the heavy drums and the guitar sounds that played the rough noise reverberated, they performed the unreleased song "New World". YUTA, wearing a mask that was vaguely visible through the gauze curtain, sang in a low voice, and when he encouraged the audience with "Are you ready Tokyo", the gauze curtain fell and YUTA's figure was clearly visible. As the fans' tension rose, the loud drum sounds triggered the stage to move on to "Save You". YUTA encouraged the audience to "Make some noise!" as the fast-paced sound built up the tension, and he went down the stairs and sang while moving from one end of the stage to the other. YUTA stood on top of a drum and shouted, "Are you ready, guys?", and removed his hood to reveal his blonde face. A huge cheer echoed through the venue.

As the band's momentum accelerated, YUTA also headbanged to get the tension going! During "Two Of Us," he used a megaphone to shout death voices and shouts to heat up the venue.
Before moving on to the next song, he shouted, "Are you having fun in Tokyo? How's it going? Have you memorized the lyrics yet? It's okay if you don't know the melody, so it's okay if everyone is different. Let's have fun one by one!", and then they went on stage for "Possiboo-hoo." The fans surrendered to the comfortable rhythm and clapped their hands above their heads. YUTA shouts, "Let me hear your voices!" and, listening to the fans singing "WowWoh~", YUTA spreads his arms wide and embraces them with his whole body. "More, more," he asks for the fans' voices, and satisfied with their singing, he says, "That's great, Tokyo is the best!" and smiles.

As the beautiful and lonely sound of the piano fills the venue, they cover "Shinshoku ~lose control~" by "L'Arc~en~Ciel". As YUTA goes up the stairs, he raises one hand to the sky while singing with a fragile and fragile voice. As his singing voice gets stronger, the band sound becomes more intense, and everyone is drawn into the unique worldview. Guided by a worldview where "stillness" and "movement" intersect, they perform "Prayer". Next, YUTA performed songs from his first mini album, including "LAST SONG," which sings about wanting to break free from things that bind you; "PRISONER," which is about believing in yourself and overcoming even in the midst of distorted love; and "Goodbye," which sings of the sadness of saying goodbye, enchanting the fans.

During Mika Nakashima's "GLAMOROUS SKY," YUTA said, "You all know this song, right? Let's sing together," and ran around the stage, enjoying himself to the fullest. When YUTA jumped, the fans jumped along with him, raising their fists in excitement. When the band was introduced in the middle of the song, YUTA played around with the cymbals of the drums and played around with the keys of the keyboard, and fans were touched by his friendship with the band members.

YUTA encouraged the crowd by saying, "How are you all? You don't have to act like a good boy today. When everyone goes crazy, I can go crazy too! At the end, as the butterflies projected on the screen overlapped with YUTA's singing figure, he passionately sang "Butterfly (Depth Ver.)," which was also performed in "NCT 127's Star," to the passionate sound. Then, he walked up the stairs and left the stage saying "Thank you Tokyo", and the words "To be continued" were displayed on the screen, raising the fans' expectations.

After the hot live performance, it was time for a talk corner.
YUTA, who had changed his costume and reappeared on stage, said with a satisfied look, "Thank you for coming to my solo tour. I'm sure everyone here likes me today." He explained, "I sang almost without MC in the first half, but I wanted to show my style on stage first, not with words, so I omitted the MC and just let everyone see the stage," and the fans who had thoroughly enjoyed the live performance gave him a big round of applause.

The topic turned to his solo debut on November 13, and YUTA expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thanks to everyone, I was able to come this far. I'm grateful to everyone who waited for me. I think it must have been very difficult in the first year because you don't know the language and there are cultural differences and misunderstandings arise." When asked "What do you think you were in your previous life?", he replied, "You know, I like visiting mountains and shrines, and not only in Japan. The other day, I went to Yasaka Shrine, and I felt like I couldn't calm down, so I just stood there for about 15 minutes, and I thought I must have been some lord in my previous life (laughs). I thought I couldn't be calm otherwise. I felt like Kokura Castle was looking at me somehow (laughs). So I think I was a lord," he said, making the fans laugh.

When asked about YUTA's original characters, "Are Yu and Uta brother and sister? Are they childhood friends?", YUTA panicked, saying, "That was a blind spot!" However, he started to point the microphone at the acrylic key chains of "Yu" and "uta" that YUTA had attached to his jeans. Then, "uta" said in a high-pitched voice, "I think I'm a sister," and "Yu" said in a low voice, "I'm an older brother," as YUTA spoke as if they were the characters, and it became clear that they were brother and sister. He said that he will be making various versions of this character in the future.

When asked "What is your favorite shot in the photo book?", he said, "I'm not going to pick one that I like, but one that everyone will like." He flipped through the photo book and showed a photo of him with his hands on his chin and a refreshing smile. He said, "I like this kind of pureness. It's my favorite, isn't it?", and the crowd cheered, as if to say, "That's right!".

When asked, "How would you spend a month off?", he replied, "I want to let everyone listen to more and more songs, so I'll probably work on them. I think I can write three or four songs in a month. I want to go on more tours next year," which delighted the fans.

After answering various questions and enjoying interacting with the fans, the time came to an end in a flash. Hearing the disappointed voices of the fans, YUTA said, "HYDE said, 'Rock is thick and short,'" and shouted, "Let's get excited for the last part! Can you do it, Tokyo?", raising the fans' tension all at once. Then the stage for the last song, "BAD EUPHORIA", began. When he shouted "Clap!", YUTA sang in a husky voice with one hand in his pocket, and the fans clapped along to the crowd. He then pointed the microphone at the audience and sang "Bad Bad Euphoria" with the fans, singing along in unison. At the end of the song, YUTA shouted loudly and jumped from the stage with great energy! He ended the show by shouting "Thank you!".
YUTA greeted the band members who had made the show so exciting, bumping his fist with them, then joined hands with them and gave a deep greeting to the fans.
YUTA looked around the venue and said "Thank you, everyone," and shouted, "I'll be back next year even more powerful than before. You guys, wash your heads and wait for me! I love you!" He then left the stage in high spirits, singing "Bad Bad Euphoria."
