China's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security held a press conference recently and revealed that the employment situation was generally stable in the first nine months of this year.
According to the report, new employment in urban areas nationwide in the first nine months of this year was 104.
This year, the government has been working comprehensively to improve employment for key groups. The government has selected 43,000 university graduates to be sent to grassroots organizations, such as education, agriculture, and medicine.
The ministry has also strengthened its job-hunting support for people who have escaped poverty, and as of the end of September, 33,016,000 people had found jobs.
The government has helped more than 10,000 companies resolve the employment needs of more than 1.86 million people. In the first nine months of the year, the government continued to implement the policy of gradually reducing unemployment insurance premiums, reducing the costs for businesses by 130.9 billion yen (approximately
2.8 trillion yen) was cut. 20.4 billion yen (approximately 440 billion yen) was paid as a refund for employment stabilization, benefiting 56.05 million workers.
