"We are investigating and charging A, the coach of a high school taekwondo club in Jeju, with a special assault," the police said. Suspect A had students practice randori between the 14th and 19th of this month, and then assaulted two students.
The coach then forced the students into a push-up position and hit them on the thighs with a blunt object. The parents of the students who were victims reported the coach to the police after confirming the physical punishment.
Police are currently investigating the details of the incident.
