100kg ”wild boar” goes on a rampage inside subway station in South Korea
A wild boar weighing approximately 100 kilograms broke into Hopo Station in Yangsan City, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea, and caused a rampage.
According to police and fire authorities on the 29th, a 1-meter-long snake was found at Hopo Station on Busan's Metro Line 2 at around 5 p.m. on the same day.
A wild boar measuring 1.5 meters and weighing 100 kilograms appeared, running wildly across each floor of the station.
On the second floor, the man ran around, and on the third floor, a man in his 30s was in the bathroom.
The wild boar also damaged property, including breaking the glass door of the Urban Railroad Customer Service Center on the fourth floor. The police, who were called in after receiving a report, chased the wild boar into a corner of the elevator on the fifth floor.
Three live rounds were fired to stop the boar from moving. A hunter then went to the scene and shot the boar dead at around 5:43 pm. The man in his 30s who was bitten by the boar was taken to the hospital, but his life is not in danger.
Police and fire authorities have cleared the scene and are currently investigating the cause of the wild boar's appearance.
