On the 31st (local time), BitGet Wallet officially announced BitGet Wallet Lite, a multi-chain wallet integrated into Telegram.
This will allow users to buy, store and send crypto assets (virtual currencies) within the Telegram app. The official release will be the soft release of BitGet Wallet Lite.
The event took place on the 28th, three days after the launch, and during this period Telegram reportedly had 6 million users sign up for the mini-app.
BitGet Wallet reportedly secured 3 million users in the first two days.
BitGet reportedly surpassed 6 million monthly users on the day of its official launch, which is half of the 12 million monthly users of BitGet Wallet.
Alvin Kan, CEO of BitGet Wallet, said in an interview with Cointelegraph:
"Trite's rapid growth is due to strategic campaigns and features that encourage user participation," he explained. One of these is the launch of a new campaign that offered gifts and rewards to the first 1 million users.
"We are encouraging early adoption through a gift campaign within the Telegram group, and BitGet is a great way to encourage early adoption," said Kan.
"We have provided rewards to users who try to secure the best chances with the wallet," he said.
Wallet's rapid growth is thanks to partnerships with other mini-apps such as Tomarket, BitGet
This allows the wallet to reach a wider range of users, Kan added.
