チェ・ミンファン(FTISLAND)、元妻ユルヒにすべてを奪われてしまうのか
”Sex trafficking allegations” Choi Min Hwan (FTISLAND) - will he lose his custody and assets? A messy battle with his former wife YULHEE
Yulhee (ex-LABOUM) has been the focus of interest in the case of her ex-husband Choi Min Hwan of the South Korean boy band FTISLAND, who has filed a lawsuit against her for child support, alimony and division of property.

According to a Korean media report on the 4th (today), Yulhee filed an adjustment application to the Seoul Family Court for a change of child support rights and a claim for alimony and property division.

The couple made headlines in 2018 when they were described as the ‘youngest idol couple’; they had one son and two daughters and appeared to be happy, but their marriage broke up after five years. Currently, Min Hwan has the right to take care of the children.

Recently, Yulhee appeared on a variety show and explained that Min Hwan first requested a divorce and then handed over the childcare rights to him, taking into account financial and other reasons. However, as soon as a series of malicious posts claiming that she abandoned the children followed the broadcast, she released relevant recordings through her YouTube channel on the 24th October, claiming that the divorce was caused by Min Hwan's frequent visits to entertainment establishments and sex trafficking.

In particular, Yulhee revealed that there was a ‘shocking incident’ that led to her decision to divorce, saying, "That time changed my marriage 180 degrees," and that "after experiencing drunken touching in front of my family, inserting money into my chest and other such things, it was like a puzzle falling into place. After going through that, just like a puzzle falling into place, I finally understood the behaviour that I previously didn't understand and realized that I couldn't fix it."

In addition, a recording attached to the end of the video contained Min Hwan requesting a hostess from an acquaintance. In the recorded recording, Min Hwan said, "I heard there are no women here today", "I sneaked out, but I want you to make a reservation for me", "I need to settle the 2.3 million won from last time, so please send me the account number and telegram", "Can you book a hotel where I can go now?"

Eventually, as the uproar spread, a netizen filed a petition with the National Newspaper Depository asking for Min Hwan to be punished on suspicion of violating the Sex Trafficking Punishment Law and for indecent assault. In response, the Gangnam Police Station launched an official investigation after a pre-case investigation (internal reconnaissance).

Min-hwan subsequently withdrew from KBS 2TV's ‘Superman is Back’, and his ‘FTISLAND’ activities have also been temporarily suspended.

The lawsuit is attracting attention as to whether Yulhee will be able to regain her child support rights.
