The movie "Big Family", which marks the comeback of director Yang Woo-suk, known for the movies "The Attorney" and "Steel Rain", features a dramatic makeover for Kim Yun-seok and a shocking transformation for Lee Seung-gi.
The movie "Big Family" is about a gyoza restaurant owner whose son becomes a monk and has no successor, but then his adorable grandson comes to visit and they start living together in a wonderful, unexpected way.
This is the story that begins. With each release, Lee Seung Gi is showing the charm of this winter's only family comedy, and he is drawing applause for his courage and challenge in shaving his head to play the role of a head priest in the movie "Big Family."
Director Yang Woo-seok said, "The role of Han Moon-seok, the perfect son, is a real man who is good at studying, handsome, tall, and perfect in everything.
"I needed a great actor. The first person I thought of was Lee Seung Gi," he said, explaining the story behind the casting. Lee Seung Gi said, "I always admire Kim Yun Seok, so I was really impressed with him.
"When I heard I would be appearing, I immediately decided to take the role. There was no reason for me to worry about shaving my head," he said. The movie "Big Family" will be released in theaters in Korea on December 11th.
