「NewJeans」、SBS「人気歌謡」でiPhoneパフォーマンス...放審委の重懲戒にPD交代
”NewJeans” performs iPhone performance on SBS's ”Inkigayo”... PD replaced after severe reprimand from the RA
The group NewJeans received a warning from the Communications Review Commission after performing on an iPhone during a music program.
On the 4th, the Broadcasting and Communications Review Committee (hereafter referred to as the RCRC) held its 30th general meeting. The RCRC heard statements from related parties and issued a warning.
Prior to this, NewJeans appeared on SBS's "Inkigayo" on July 30th last year and performed their new song "ETA."
She took out her iPhone on stage and performed a performance. The performance lasted about 15 seconds. At the time, "NewJeans" was an iPhone advertising model.
In fact, the "ETA" music video was shot on an iPhone 14 PRO and was a hot topic. Although it was a performance on a music show, it was an advertisement for the iPhone.
Internet users were in a controversy over the performance of "NewJeans," with some arguing that the performance using the iPhone could be seen as indirect advertising.
As a result, "NewJeans" was caught up in the indirect advertising (PPL) affair. After the affair, the RA said it was considering a deliberation. The RA said it would consider the matter based on the broadcast time and whether or not advance notice was given.
SBS said, "It's a common production method that utilizes the concept of a music video, and the production team accepted it without any particular concerns.
"The only thing I was worried about was whether to show or hide my face," he said. SBS also revealed that they had replaced the PD for the show after the broadcast of the stage.
The committee conveyed its dissatisfied position, including requesting that recurrence be prevented.
