The first trailer for tvN's ‘Finland Rent-a-Stay’, which will start airing on 6 December, shows Lee Jae Hoon, Lee Dong Hwi, Kwak Dong Yeon and Cha Eun Woo's laughter-filled countryside life after they crash-landed in the Finnish countryside.
‘Finnish Ranch Life’ is a programme that brings to life the crazy local life of urban actors who end up living as renters in a rural Finnish village with no electricity, running water or Wi-Fi. Actors Lee Jae-hoon, Lee Dong-hwi, Kwak Dong Yeon and Cha Eun Woo, who are drawing positive reviews from men and women of all ages, will mingle with the locals in Finland, the world's number one happiness index country, and experience a different kind of local life.
The first teaser video, which was released amidst a flurry of stills featuring the actors' slapstick daily lives against the backdrop of Finnish Lapland, gives a peek into the authentic local life of the actors who visited Lapland. Thrown into an environment without electricity, running water or Wi-Fi, the actors express awe at the vast wilderness, saying they ‘didn't expect this’, and gradually blend into Lapland.
The film attracts interest as the actors shower in river water on horseback, cook and eat rice over a wood fire, and empathise in real time with the reindeer. The change in the actors adapting to the countryside is interesting: Lee Jae Hoon runs with a sheep's wool hat on, Lee Dong Hwi washes clothes with his body, Kwak Dong Yeon is addicted to the fun of using an axe, and Cha Eun Woo drinks spring water because there is no water purifier.
Lee Jae Hoon's cute dance in front of his brothers, "I really gave up completely", attracts the viewer's attention. The actors' substance that was never seen in the city is said to emerge. Cha Eun Woo, who exudes sexiness in wet clothes, soon shows his playful side with Lee Dong-hui's words "Cha Eun Woo, come on", which draws laughter.
‘Finland on Loan’ will start airing in South Korea on the 6th December at 8:40pm.
