”TOMORROW X TOGETHER” 7th mini album surpasses previous album's weekly sales in Japan... No. 1 on major music charts
Idol group ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER’ is on the verge of breaking a new record by showing their strength in the Japanese record and sound source market.

According to Big Hit Music on the 7th November, ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 7th mini-album “Chapter of Stars: SANCTUARY” ranked No.1 on Japan Oricon's “Daily Album Ranking” (4-5 November) for two consecutive days.

The album sold 277,587 copies in Japan alone during the relevant period. This is more than the previous 6th mini-album ‘episode 3: TOMORROW’ sold in a week (174,000 copies/Japan Oricon standard) in the first two days after its release. In terms of sales volume during the same period (148,588 copies), it grew by approximately 60% compared to the previous album. This shows the growing influence of ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER’ in the Japanese music market.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER' holds the record for the most consecutive No. 1 albums by foreign artists on Japan Oricon's weekly album chart. They have had ten albums consecutively rank at the top of this chart. Considering that the new album's sales volume is showing the fastest increase of any album released so far, it is expected that ‘Tomorrow X Together’ will break the new record.

The title track ‘Over The Moon’ is also on an upward curve on the Japanese music charts. The song, which ranked 78th on the real-time song chart of sound source website Line Music (LINE MUSIC) at 7pm on the 4th, one hour after its release, ranked 1st at 8pm on the 6th. In the Japanese Spotify ‘Daily Top Songs’ (5 November), it ranked 74th, up 79 places from the previous day. On the Japanese Apple Music Top Albums and iTunes Top Albums charts, where all sound sources in one album are ranked as a whole, their 7th mini-album ‘Hoshi no Chapters: SANCTUARY’ was ranked No.1 together.

Meanwhile, ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER’ also performed well on the Korean charts. On the day of its release, their new album ranked No.1 on the Hunt Chart's daily album chart, and five albums in a row achieved ‘initial million-seller’ status. It then took a one-tempo break and regained the top spot on the latest chart (dated 6 November) on the third day of its release. The title track ‘Over The Moon’ ranked in the top three on Bugs' real-time chart.
