プーチン氏「北朝鮮との合同軍事訓練は “可能”」…「なぜだめなのか」
Putin: ”Joint military drills with North Korea are 'possible'”... ”Why not?”
Russian President Vladimir Putin mentioned the possibility of joint military exercises with North Korea.
Speaking at a plenary session of the Bali Debating Club conference in Sochi, southern Albania, he said of joint military drills with North Korea, "Let's wait and see. We can do the training. Why not?"
President Putin referred to the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (Treaty between Russia and North Korea) that was concluded with North Korea in June this year, saying, "The treaty stipulates that if the other side is attacked,
"Article 4 states that we will support each other and assist each other," he added. Putin said, "This treaty outlines the relationship between Russia and North Korea and is a signal of stability in the region."
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said at the European Political Community (EPC) summit on the same day that "11,000 North Korean troops have been deployed in the Kursk region (Russia)."
Some of these 10,000 troops were deployed to the battlefield, resulting in casualties among North Korean troops."
