Shin Woo-seok, director of ”New Jeans” music video, sues ADOR management for defamation

Shin Woo-seok, the director of NewJeans' music videos for "Ditto" and "ETA," has filed a lawsuit against ADOR management.
According to NEWS, Dolphin Kidnapping Director Shin Woo-seok was arrested on the 4th at Yongsan Police Station in Seoul along with ADOR CEO Kim Juyeon and HYBE CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer).
and Vice-CEO Lee Do-kyung for allegedly violating the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation).

Director Shin claimed that ADOR, which had changed management, had requested the deletion of the footage of the work on "New Jeans."
However, ADOR has requested that the "ETA" director's cut video, which was posted without consultation with advertisers, be removed.
Director Shin responded by saying, "I have the recording and the email, so please stop lying," and said that if he posted the apology, he would be able to get Bang Hisha to remove the video.
ADOR said it would transfer ownership of the channel to ADOR. ADOR also said it had uploaded footage containing the IP of "NewJeans" to the Dolphin Kidnapping Group's channel without ADOR's approval.
"In order to protect the copyrights of our artists, we have begun the process of verifying the facts regarding the director's cut footage of the 'ETA' music video," the company said.
In response, Director Shin said to ADOR, "If you are so confident, why did you contact the person spreading the false information?
"Were they trying to appease us?" he said, "To be clear, all the content and channels we uploaded were agreed upon. They will not disappear just because the management has changed.
"There is no agreement," he said. He also said that the director's cut of "ETA," which ADOR took issue with, was also agreed upon in its entirety, and claimed that "a third party is being used to distort the situation."
