On the morning of the 8th, director Kwak Kyung-taek and actor Kim Jong-un attended the production presentation for the movie "Firefighter" held at the CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul.
Yu JooWon, You Chae Myung, Lee YuYoung, Kim Min Jae, Oh DaeHwan, Lee JunHyuk and Jang Young Nam were in attendance and talked about the project.
However, actor Kwak Do Won, who has been in controversy due to the drunk driving allegations, did not attend the event.
"Firefighter," which is scheduled to be released for the first time in four years, is based on the real-life Hongje-dong fire disaster that occurred in South Korea in 2001.
The story depicts the plight of firefighters who are deployed in harsh conditions with the sole goal of putting out the fire and rescuing everyone. JooWon plays a rookie firefighter who is deployed to the Western Fire Station for the first time in "Firefighter."
In this role, JooWon portrays the desperate efforts and struggles of firefighters. Regarding the changes she experienced before and after filming the drama, she said, "I changed a lot before and after filming," and "I was able to see the children's reactions and feelings.
"I remember that the firefighters were so cool that I would always be happy just to see a fire truck," he said. "Actually, I had forgotten about it after I became an adult, but when I saw the script for the movie,

"When I was directing my acting, he said, 'That's amazing. Your acting is so good,' and it was a really wonderful experience.
"It was a place where I could experience the world of fire and light, and I was able to experience it for a long time," he said, expressing his affection for the film. The film "Firefighter" will be released in Korea on December 4th.
